What's this?

Efforts towards a Peaceful World is a blog where everyone from around the world can post inspirational quotes, pictures, clip arts, statements, etc. pertaining to World Peace. With all the chaos going on in the world, I felt that coming up with a social media-type site would be a good place to start in our quest for a better world. I figure that since social media sites connect people, this social media blog website will help connect people who want the world to be a more peaceful place. I think all who post something will be heard by at least somebody in the world. I believe that if we come together with this common goal, we can achieve this goal because we'll all care about it together.
Ground Rules (yes, there has to be some rules):
  1. Everybody is welcome to post something appropriate on this blog
  2. No one is allowed to post anything about drugs of any kind, anything pro-violence (this blog is about peace, you know), or about anything that otherwise doesn't fit in with the "peace" theme. For example, one may say "Wars are terrible. We need to stop them.", but one may not say something insensitive, racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. like "Wars are terrible unless they're fought against (insert a type of people)".
  3. No advertising or soliciting
  4. No plagiarism! Always give credit where credit is due. If you post something that you know someone else specifically said or if you post an image that someone else created, cite that person or source where you found it. Example:

5. Respect all types of religious views/opinions. You don't have to agree with any of them, but this blog lets people express their own ideas and feelings, which are to be respected.

6. No bullying or harassment of any kind is permitted.

7. You may email me with questions, suggestions for the site, feedback, or constructive criticism about the site at efforttowardsworldpeace@gmail.com . I will answer you without saying who you are in the blog. For example, if someone emails me saying, "I have a question. What kind of music should I share on this blog? Can it be a hip-hop song?", I'll post something on the blog like "Hey everyone! Feel free to post any kind of music you want here. Ideally it should have something to do with peace, but hey, if it inspires you, then go for it because maybe it will inspire someone else, too!" Note: I never email back because I don't always personally know who emails me, so I just talk generally to the public by posting things on this blog.
Otherwise, you can just ask your question, make your suggestion, or give your feedback or constructive criticism on the blog directly by commenting on a post. This is probably the best option for communication anyway.
8. No spamming

9. No unethical or illegal activities

10. All languages are welcome. Just because I write in English doesn't mean that everybody has to write in English. Write your posts in your own language that you are most familiar with.
